Specific Issues: I need to figure out how many photos I want in the picture, where I'm going to get images for a collage or two. How many pages do I want in this book. What should be on the cover.
Timeline: I work a little bit everyday simply so I know I will have enough material to turn in. I'll just put it all together by when it's all due.
Done by April 26th: I should have at least 8-12 pages done by then.
For my final project I plan on doing another picture book similar to the one I just finished. But in my next book I'm going to add images that flip out. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's definelty different from any sort of book I've seen/made. I'm also going to try and include some photos and photoshop editing.
Michael Sieben is both an artist and a writer for the Skateboard magazine Thrasher. Many of his articles in Thrasher express humor and creativity. He is definetly an influence on my own personal art. He has also had several shows locally in Portland where I'm from.
These are both a couple of drawings I made in my sketchbook this last two terms. The picture of the skater is taken from a magazine. But i made the background with watercolor, markers, pens, and highlighters.
I recently started making a couple different album cover ideas. This is one of the first ones I made. It also folds out creating different layers with different colors and textures.
